Carpet and upholstery cleaning in South and West Wales

Cleaning for fitted carpets, loose rugs and fabric furniture in homes and rented property, matched to the fibre, the care labels and the marks you want treated.

Vacuuming lifts loose dirt from the surface. Oily soil and fine grit settle at the base of the pile, where they wear the fibres, and a deep clean lifts much of that soiling and freshens the pile.

Wool, synthetic fibres, viscose and natural weaves such as sisal each react differently to water and cleaning products, so the fibre decides how each carpet or rug is cleaned.

What the work covers

Fitted carpets

Room carpets cleaned in the way that suits the fibre.

Stairs and landings

Treads, risers and landings cleaned, with attention to the worn edges where dirt collects.

Rugs

Loose rugs, including natural-fibre rugs where the weave and backing allow cleaning in the home.

Sofas and armchairs

Seats, backs, arms and loose cushions cleaned according to the care code on the label.

Dining chairs and headboards

Fabric seat pads, chair backs and upholstered headboards.

Stain pre-treatment

Single marks such as wine, coffee or mud treated before the main clean.

Questions people ask

How much does carpet cleaning cost?

Room count and size, the stairs, the fibre and the stains to treat set the price, along with any sofas or chairs. Photos of the marks and of upholstery labels show what is involved.

Which stains will come out?

Fresh spills usually respond well. Old stains, bleach marks, dye transfer and burns are harder, and some will not shift because the colour of the fibre itself has changed.

Do I need to move the furniture?

Light items such as dining chairs and side tables are moved during the clean. Heavy pieces such as wardrobes and pianos stay where they are and are cleaned around. Clear toys, cables and small items from the floor first.

Can pet urine be treated?

Surface marks often improve. If urine has soaked into the underlay, the smell can come back after cleaning and the underlay may need replacing. Mention pet urine in the enquiry and say how long ago it happened.

Where do I find the cleaning code on my sofa?

Look for a label under the seat cushions or on the base of the frame. Send a photo of it with your enquiry.

Should I keep the invoice after an end of tenancy carpet clean?

Yes. If the check-in inventory records professionally cleaned carpets, the invoice shows the work was done if the question comes up at check-out.
