Regular cleaning

Regular home cleaning in South and West Wales

A weekly or fortnightly clean of your house or flat on a set day, covering the kitchen, bathrooms, dusting, floors and bins.

A regular clean deals with the jobs that build up between visits: dust on surfaces, marks on kitchen worktops, limescale in the bathroom, floors and bins. Visits are weekly or fortnightly on a set day.

How long each visit takes depends on the size of the house and the tasks on your list. Ironing, the inside of the fridge or the inside of the oven can be added as regular tasks, or rotated so one of them is done on each visit.

What the work covers

Kitchen

Worktops, hob, sink and cupboard fronts wiped, appliance exteriors cleaned and the floor mopped.

Bathrooms and toilets

Toilet, basin, bath or shower, tiles, taps and mirrors cleaned, with limescale treated as it appears.

Dusting

Surfaces, skirting boards, window sills and reachable light fittings in the rooms on your list.

Floors

Carpets and rugs vacuumed, and hard floors mopped with a product that suits the surface.

Beds and bins

Beds changed when clean linen is left out, and bins emptied with fresh liners fitted.

Rotating extras

Ironing, the inside of the fridge or oven, or inside windows, added as a regular or rotating task.

Questions people ask

How much does a regular home clean cost?

The price follows the size of the house, how often you want visits and the tasks on your list. Send the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, along with anything that adds time, such as pet hair or ironing.

Can I change the list after the first few visits?

Yes. Tell us before the next visit what you want added, dropped or done less often. Adding tasks can change how long each visit takes.

What happens if I am away on the day of a visit?

Tell us in advance which visit falls while you are away, and whether you want it skipped, moved or kept so the house is clean when you get back.

Are windows included in a home clean?

Inside glass, frames and sills can go on the list. If you also want the outside of the windows cleaned, add that to your enquiry.

Is weekly or fortnightly better for my home?

Weekly visits suit busy households, homes with pets and people who want the house kept at a steady level. A fortnightly visit usually takes longer each time, because more has built up in between.
